The Westpac Young Technologists Scholarship is now open for students commencing a technology-related undergraduate degree at RMIT University in 2025. This prestigious scholarship supports aspiring innovators and leaders in Australia’s technology and digital sectors, providing financial aid, networking opportunities, and access to the Westpac 100 Scholars Network.

To be eligible for the funding program, applicants must be Australian citizens, permanent residents, or permanent humanitarian visa holders. Additionally, candidates should have completed Year 12 in 2023 or 2024 with a minimum ATAR of 65, and at least 50% of shortlisted applicants will be women.RMIT University is a global leader in education, research, and innovation. RMIT University Westpac Young Technologists Scholarship, Australia for Bachelor Established in 1887, RMIT University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Melbourne (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Victoria. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, or Australian permanent humanitarian visa holders.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded to students enrolled in the following RMIT University programs:
  • Bachelor of Computer Science (BP094, BP347)
  • Bachelor of Cyber Security (BP355, BP356)
  • Bachelor of Data Science (BP340, BP348)
  • Bachelor of Design (Games, BP214; Animation and Interactive Media, BP203)
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Computer and Network Engineering) (Honours)/Bachelor of Computer Science (BH091)
  • Bachelor of Information Technology (BP162, BP349)
  • Bachelor of Software Engineering Professional (BP096)
  • Bachelor of Business (BP343) (with a major in Business Information Systems)
  • Bachelor of Business Professional Practice (BP344) (with a major in Business Information Systems)
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  1. Be commencing full-time study in Semester 1 or 2 of 2025 and have received a program offer by 10 January 2025.
  2. Have completed Year 12 (or equivalent) in Australia in 2023 or 2024 with an ATAR of at least 65.
  3. Identify as women (for at least 50% of shortlisted candidates).
  4. Be available for an interview on 4 February 2025 (date subject to confirmation).
