This scholarship aims to support students who want to apply for Vocational Education, bachelor, graduate Diploma or master by coursework program in Australia. The scholarship winner will get an award amount of AU$10,000 during their study.

RMIT University STEM Scholarships for Latin American Students in Australia Established in 1887, RMIT University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Melbourne (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Victoria. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Bundoora, Brunswick, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Training, Australia, RMIT University (RMIT) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational higher education institution. RMIT University (RMIT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. This 132 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

  • Eligible Countries:  Citizens of Latin America countries can apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Any Vocational Education, Bachelor, Graduate Diploma, or Master by coursework programs offered by one of RMIT Schools below:

  • Health and Biomedical Sciences
  • Science
  • Computing Technologies
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • Applying from Latin America countries
  • Be an international student holding a valid student visa or plan to apply for a student visa prior to the program commencement
  • Not be an existing RMIT University student
  • Achieve an overall 70% average or equivalent in your last completed qualification.

Offered Benefits

RMIT University will provide an award amount of AU$10,000 to the successful candidates for the year 2022/2023.

  • How to Apply: Students must log in to  RMIT Online Portal and complete their admission application. Then, to apply for this scholarship through online application form.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Academic transcripts
  • Passport copy
  • Resume
  • Personal statement
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Admission Requirements: Before taking admission, applicants must check all the entry requirements of the university.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
