RMIT University is offering the Centre for African Engagement (CAE) PhD Scholarships for African students to undertake research on “Understanding Electric Vehicle (EV) Consumer Behaviour and Usage Practices in Africa
To be eligible, applicants must be citizens of an African country, meet RMIT’s PhD admission requirements, and hold relevant degrees in Marketing, Social Sciences, or Public Policy. They should have strong research skills, relevant industry experience, and a demonstrated interest in sustainability, green consumer behaviour, and technology adoption in Africa.

Offered Benefits
The scholarships provide tuition fees for a period of 3.5 years and a stipend of $35,886 per annum (2025 rate indexed annually)

- A brief overview of motivation and suitability for the PhD project.
- A detailed CV including academic achievements and research experience.
