Research Fellowships at the University of the Highlands and Islands, UK Founded in 2011, University of the Highlands and Islands is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium-sized town of Inverness (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Scotland. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) is a medium-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 7,000-7,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Offered Benefits

The university will provide salary for this position will normally be in the range of £37,733 to £40,030 per annum (pro-rata). For exceptional candidates, a higher salary up to the top of the grade (currently £43,742 per annum) may be available.

  • A master’s degree at the postgraduate level of a University in the United Kingdom or equivalent
  • A first or upper second class honors degree of a University in the United Kingdom or equivalent.
  • Language Requirement: Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high level of competence in written and spoken English with an IELTS score of 6.5 overall and not less than 6.0 in any element.
