Our SHERQ Graduates are given the opportunity to grow through a 4-5- year development programme, laying a strong foundation for a successful career. We begin with a practical introduction to our working environment, whereby Management Trainees gain experience through meaningful work either at the RCL FOODS Head Office or at one of our Manufacturing sites that enables them to take ownership and responsibility of real business projects. 

The SHERQ Management Trainees that are successful in our programme will have the opportunity to gain exposure and experience in all areas of our SHERQ, including quality control measures, health and safety protocols, as well as environmental sustainability practices, ensuring comprehensive understanding of operational excellence.

Requirements for RCL Foods Management Trainee Program

  • Completed studies or currently in the final year of study
  • BTech / BSc / BSc (Honors) in Food Science / Environmental Health / Biotechnology
  • South African citizen or permanent resident
  • Good academic results in your majors in 2nd and 3rd year
  • Computer Literacy (MS Office, including Excel and Word)
