Established in 1923, Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen (Radboud University) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Nijmegen (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Gelderland. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministerie van Onderwijs, Cultuur en Wetenschap, Nederland (Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, Netherlands), Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen (RU) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen (RU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Offered Benefits
For 2023-2024, a maximum of 26 Radboud Scholarships are available as the following:
- One scholarship in the Faculty of Arts
- Nine scholarships in the Faculty of Law
- One scholarship in the Faculty of Medical Sciences
- Two scholarships in the Nijmegen School of Management
- One scholarship in the Faculty of Philosophy, Theology, and Religious Studies
- Ten scholarships in the Faculty of Science
- Two scholarships in the Faculty of Social Sciences
Radboud University will provide all the following:
- A Radboud Scholarship will reduce your tuition fee to € 2.314- For example, a grant holder in 2022/2023 will pay a tuition fee of only €2.314- instead of €16,000.
- The scholarship also covers costs for the visa, residence permit, health insurance, and liability insurance for your stay in the Netherlands (Aon Student Insurance).
Application Process
- How to Apply: Applicants can apply by pointing during their application for admission to a Master’s program in the OSIRIS Application system that they want to apply for a Radboud Scholarship.
- Supporting Documents: To submit a master admission application, applicants are required to upload an official transcript of their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Bachelor’s diploma or equivalent, Sworn translations of diploma and transcript, Course description for unfinished/finished courses, Personal statement/motivation letter, Reference letters, Overview of education/experience, and English language certificate.
- Three additional documents are required for admission: two reference letters and a curriculum vitae. Applicants can upload the same documents again for their award application.
- Admission Requirements: If applicants wish to apply for a Master’s program, they will need to make sure that they submit their enrolment request via Studielink before the application deadline.
- Language Requirement: To meet the admission requirements for English-taught Master’s programs, sufficient proficiency in English is required.
Note: The application deadline is 31 January 2023 if students apply for the master’s program in Biomedical Sciences or Molecular Mechanisms of Disease.
