To support promising students facing financial hardships on the path of their dream education, the Queensland University of Technology has established the International Talent Scholarships for the academic year 2025-2026.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be international students commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate course at QUT for the first time. They must meet the academic entry requirements, hold an eligible nationality, and satisfy minimum English language requirements. Applicants must also receive an admission offer into one of the eligible QUT programs.

QUT International Talent Scholarships in Australia Founded in 1989, Queensland University of Technology is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Brisbane (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Queensland. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Training, Australia, Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational higher education institution. Queensland University of Technology (QUT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania, and South America

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship is available for QUT courses in:
    Architecture and Built Environment, Business, Communication, Creative Arts, Design, Education, Engineering, Health, IT and Games, Justice, Law, Mathematics, Data Science, Project Management, and Science (including Double Degrees and Vertical Masters).

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:

    • Meet academic entry requirements for their chosen program.

    • Have an eligible nationality.

    • Meet minimum English language requirements.

    • Be commencing the course for the first time.

    • Receive an admission offer letter into one of the eligible courses.

    • Not hold another QUT academic scholarship.

  • Ongoing scholarship covering 20% of tuition fees per semester, subject to maintaining satisfactory academic progress and fulfilling scholarship conditions.

Application Process

  • No separate application is required.

  • Applicants are automatically assessed for the scholarship based on their academic record when they apply for admission at QUT.
