Quercus Sport Scholarships for International Students in Ireland for Bachelor Founded in 1845, University College Cork is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the large town of Cork (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), County Cork. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Skills, Ireland, University College Cork (UCC) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University College Cork (UCC) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.   • Eligible Countries:  Irish and overseas students can both apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects:  Undergraduate programmes offered at the University College Cork can be applied for. 
  • Eligibility Criteria:  To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must participate in a sport recognized by Sport Ireland.
  • The applicants must be able to provide evidence that they are competing at the highest available level in their chosen sport and have the identifiable potential for further improvement. 
  • The applicants will be expected to act as ambassadors for UCC and the Quercus Talented Students’ Programme in terms of their participation in their chosen sport.
  • The applicants must have accepted an offer of a place at University College Cork through the CAO or the International Office.

The University of College Cork will award the winning candidates a scholarship worth €10,500 towards their undertaken undergraduate study program.
