Queen’s Excellence International Awards in UK for Bachelor Established in 1908, Queen's University Belfast is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Belfast (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Northern Ireland. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, Queen's University Belfast (QUB) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Queen's University Belfast (QUB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 111 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 30-40% making this UK higher education organization a very selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The grant is open to pursuing an undergraduate degree in all subject except Medicine, Dentistry, Agricultural Technology, Theology, LLB Senior Status and ALL Distance Learning programmes, foundation degree programmes and non-standard fee courses, including part-time programmes.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Students who have enrolled on an eligible full-time and full duration undergraduate programme at the Queen’s University Belfast campus from September 2021.
  • Students must achieve a GPA of at least 75% on an eligible full-time and complete duration undergraduate programme in the academic year 2021-22 at the Queen’s University Belfast campus.
  • Students must be self-funded.

Offered Benefits

For undergraduate study, the Queen’s University Belfast will provide the award amount of £2000 to the winning students for the academic year 2021-2022.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To be eligible for the sponsorship, students must take admission in an undergraduate degree program at Queen’s University Belfast. There is no separate application required.
  • Supporting Documents: Applicants must present a transcript, photographs, letter of recommendation, a resume, photocopy of passport, and all the previous necessary mark-sheets.
  • Admission Requirements: Before taking enrolment, you need to check all the entrance requirements of the university.
  • Language Requirement: Students must have excellent proficiency in the English language to study in the UK.
