Provost Entrance funding for International Students at McMaster University, Canada Established in 1887, McMaster University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Hamilton (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Ontario. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, Ontario, McMaster University (Mac) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. McMaster University (Mac) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 132 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

  • Eligible Countries: Applications are accepted from around the world.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The studentships are awarded in the subjects offered by the university.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must have to meet the following criteria:
  • Must be an international visa student, currently studying at a foreign high school outside of Canada and applying for admission to a Level l program.

Offered Benefits

The university offers $7500 (Up to 10 awards available per year) to undertake a Level l program for the academic year 2020-21.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: In order to apply for the opportunity , candidates must have to take admission in the Level l program at the University. After that candidates must complete the nomination form and an application.
  • Supporting Documents: All candidates must have to submit a CV, academic transcripts and certificates.
  • Admission Requirements: For being admitted, you need to meet the admission requirements for each qualification you plan to study.
  • Language Requirement:  Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language requirements in order to be able to study at the university.
