Project Hero Scholarship at Western University Canada 2026-2027 for Bachelor Founded in 1878, Western University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of London (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Ontario. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, Ontario, Western University is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Western University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. This 141 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

The recipient must be:

  • A dependant of a member of the Canadian military killed while serving in an active mission
  • Eligibility to the scholarship program of Canadian Forces personnel deceased while serving in an active mission will be determined by Canadian Forces criteria.
  • Definition of dependants’ status will be determined as per Revenue Canada criteria.
  • Under the age of twenty six
  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • Must meet admission requirements as per The University of Western Ontario
  • Registered as a full-time student at main campus in a first entry undergraduate degree program
  • Satisfactory academic standing

Offered Benefits

Recipients in the following programs will have tuition covered, including ancillary and other compulsory fees as well as up to $10,000 towards the first year residence and meal plan costs.
