Program d’Études en France (PEF) Scholarship for German Students for Bachelor

Eligibility Criteria

• Eligible Countries: Germany
• Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for undergraduate courses in Romance studies, France-related intercultural and European studies, linguistics
• Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
• Undergraduate students in bachelor’s courses in the fields of Romance studies, intercultural (France-related) and European studies, linguistics with French as the first foreign language (e.g. foreign language linguistics), and, depending on the chosen major, law or economics can apply.
• Applicants must be enrolled at a state-recognized university in Germany and be in the second semester or the second half of the first year of their bachelor’s degree at the time of application.

Offered Benefits

Funding is subject to the French Embassy providing the funds. The scholarship includes the following services:

• A monthly partial scholarship rate of 450 euros
• Exemption from tuition fees at French universities
• Benefits for health, accident and personal liability insurance

Application Process

The program is intended to support a one-semester study visit for bachelor students as part of an integrated study program in Linguistics and cultural studies at one of the French partner universities.
