Berklee Music School is inviting students who wish to take a step towards higher education in the field of music to apply for the Presidential Scholarships. The grant is available for the academic year 2021-2022.

This scholarship aims to support incoming musicians from international countries. The award covers the tuition fee of the applied programme with a few more aspects of study in Russia.

Berklee Music School is a singular institution for the study of the performing arts in Russia ranked among the best music schools. Its mission is to educate, train, and develop students to excel in music as a career.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Applicants from Russia, UK, and all other international countries are eligible to apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: All degree programmes at Berklee, Russia are eligible to undertake.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must demonstrate the highest musical merit and highest financial need.

Offered Benefits

The selected students will be given coverage towards the tuition fee of the applied degree programme and campus accommodation at Berklee. They will also be given a laptop.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: Interested students must create an account on the application page of the university to apply. Students need to create a CSS profile and apply for the opportunity through the same.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Student visa
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Resume
  • Portfolio
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Admission Requirements: The students are required to appear for their scheduled audition and clear it.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • TOEFL iBT
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
  • Cambridge English Language Exams Certificate in Advanced English
  • Pearson Test of English Academic
  • Duolingo
