University of Vermont Presidential International Scholarships, USA for Bachelor Founded in 1791, University of Vermont is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized town of Burlington (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Vermont. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, University of Vermont (UVM) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Vermont (UVM) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Out-of-state and international students are eligible to apply. 
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Undergraduate programmes offered at Vermont can be applied for. 
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must be out-of-state first-year students. 
  • The applicants must be enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0. 

Offered Benefits

Successfully selected students will be provided $16,000 to $18,000 annually and up to $20,000 annually for Honors College. 

Application Process

  • How to Apply: Students need to first submit an admission application via Coalition Application or Common Application portal. The admission application will be reviewed to award the scholarship; no separate application is needed. 
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to submit original official transcripts of all secondary and postsecondary education, including final exam results and certified translations of the same in English. 
  • Admission Requirements: Students are required to maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0. 
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests: 
  • TOEFL IBT – 80 
  • IELTS – 6.5
