Premier``s Healthy Living Scholarship for Youth 2025 at University of Manitoba for Bachelor Founded in 1877, University of Manitoba is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Winnipeg (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Manitoba. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Training, Manitoba, University of Manitoba (U of M) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Manitoba (U of M) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • You must be in Grade 12 and planning to graduate in the current school year.

  • You need to be admitted to, and register full-time in your first year at any faculty or school at the University of Manitoba.

  • You must have a minimum entering average of 75% in the courses used for your university admission.

  • You have to demonstrate outstanding healthy living contributions during high school in at least one of these areas:

    • Active living

    • Healthy eating

    • Healthy sexuality

    • Mental health promotion

    • Safety and injury prevention

    • Substance abuse and addictions

    • Tobacco reduction

Application Process

  • Complete the official application form
    (This includes your personal info, school info, and areas of achievement.)

  • Write your Healthy Living Contribution statement, answering these questions:

    1. What kind of work did you do and how did it relate to healthy living?

    2. Where did this take place and who was involved?

    3. How did you serve as a role model for others?

    4. What impact did your efforts have on your school/community?

    5. Write a 250-word personal statement about why you should receive the scholarship, what you learned, and how you’ll continue promoting healthy living.

  • Include a reference letter
    (Your application must include contact details for someone who can speak about your contributions — a teacher, coach, or community leader.)
