Postgraduate Research International Scholarship in Optimized Manufacturing Through Physics Based Models, UK for Master Founded in 1964, University of Strathclyde is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Glasgow (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Scotland. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Applications are accepted from around the world.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Postgraduate research degree programme in optimized manufacturing through physics-based models.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • Must have first-class or second-class qualifications in the respective fields of Solid Mechanics, Material sciences, engineering, physics/mathematics, or an equivalent EU/International qualification.
  • Must have the following technical experience and personal skills:
  • Must have computer programming proficiency in at least one language (Matlab, Fortran, Python etc.)
  • Must be a self-motivated person with expertise and/or concern for the mechanical, physical, mathematical and material models of solids.
  • Must have knowledge of finite element modelling would be beneficial, but it is not necessary.
  • Must have a positive attitude, as well as initiative and the ability to operate independently, is needed.
  • Must have the ability to Synthesize, summarise and draw conclusions
  • Must have the strength to cope with schedules and deadlines
  • Must have outstanding organizational and communication abilities

  • How to Apply: In order to apply for this opportunity, applicants have to take admission in a postgraduate research degree programme at the university.
  • Supporting Documents: Students are required to submit certified copies of qualifications, a transcript of results, a copy of passport, a copy of sponsor letter/Award, and copies of any other documentation.
  • Admission Requirements: For taking admission to the university, applicants will need to meet the academic entry requirements of the program.
