Postgraduate International Research Scholarships in Understanding and Addressing, Australia Founded in 1874, The University of Adelaide is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Adelaide (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), South Australia. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Training, Australia, The University of Adelaide (UofA) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. The University of Adelaide (UofA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Postgraduate Research in Faculty of Arts at the university.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia international students accepted as candidates for a PhD degree at the University of Adelaide.

Offered Benefits

Winners will receive the amount of $28,854 per annum for up to three years for their postgraduate research study at the University of Adelaide.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: The applicants must complete the postgraduate research degree admission application through the  application portal. After getting enrolled, expressions of interest should be submitted to Professor Lisa Hill at 
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:

  • Translations of non-English documentation
  • Evidence of English language proficiency
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Admission Requirements: For taking admission, students must have to check the  entry requirements of a postgraduate research degree at the university.
