The Department of Ecology, Environment and Geoscience at Umeå University is inviting applications for a two-year Postdoctoral Scholarships within Arctic Climate Change Research. The position offers an opportunity to work on long-term experiments examining the effects of climate and nutrient availability on productivity, decomposition, and respiration in Arctic ecosystems.
Applicants must hold a doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign qualification in plant ecology, arctic ecology, or a related field. The degree should generally have been completed within the past three years, unless special circumstances apply. Candidates should have strong analytical skills, experience handling large datasets, and proven ability to conduct fieldwork in remote Arctic environments.
