Postdoctoral Researchers Position in International Mobility Experience, Germany for Fellowship

Eligible Countries: All nationalities may apply.

Acceptable Course or Subjects: Fellowships are awarded in any academic discipline offered by German universities.

Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:

• Have completed their doctorate with excellent results before the start of funding.

• Apply within six years of completing their doctorate (extensions possible for parental/care responsibilities).

• Have at least one scientific publication (co-authorship accepted).

• Fulfill the mobility rule: applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity in the chosen host country abroad for more than 12 months in the last three years before the deadline.

• Intend to continue their long-term academic career in Germany after completion of the fellowship.

• Not hold a permanent employment contract with the intended host university.

• Provide written confirmation from both a German host university (employment and mentorship) and a foreign host institution (infrastructure and research support).

Applications must be submitted via the DAAD application portal.

Required documents include: application form, CV, career plan, research proposal (7–8 pages), time schedule, host institution confirmations (Germany & abroad), academic certificates, publication list, doctoral thesis summary, ethics checklist, and one confidential recommendation letter.
