The University of Amsterdam is announcing a Postdoctoral Researcher Position in Communication Science at AI, Media & Democracy Lab. The role focuses on exploring how AI is transforming media, user interaction, and democratic engagement. The selected researcher will develop and publish studies, collaborate in interdisciplinary projects, and contribute to public debates on AI and media ethics.
To be eligible, applicants must hold a PhD in communication science, journalism, or a related social science field. They should have strong skills in digital or computational methods, excellent English proficiency, and experience working in interdisciplinary research teams. An interest in AI, media, and democratic engagement, as well as organizing academic activities, is also required.
