Leiden University’s Faculty of Humanities is excited to announce a Postdoctoral Researcher Position in Arabic Studies and Epigraphy. This full-time position is part of the VICI research project “Land, Space, Power: Landscapes of the Early Caliphate,” funded by the Dutch Science Foundation. The selected candidate will conduct pioneering research into the cultural transformations of the early Arab-Islamic empire.
To be eligible for the position at Leiden University, applicants must possess a PhD degree in a relevant field and demonstrate excellent reading skills in medieval Arabic.
