Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS) is offering Postdoctoral Researcher Position in Applying Deep learning to Healthcare (R2) for the academic session 2024/2025.

To qualify for the position, overseas applicants must possess a PhD in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, computational biology, or a related field. Relevant experience in image analysis and medical imaging, coupled with a strong publication record in esteemed conferences and journals, is essential.The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS) is Spain’s leading supercomputing facility, renowned for hosting MareNostrum, one of Europe’s most powerful supercomputers. Established to advance scientific research, BSC specializes in high-performance computing (HPC) and integrates research and development across various domains, including life sciences, earth sciences, and engineering.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to applicants from all countries
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, or life sciences.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
  • Hold a PhD in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, computational biology, or related fields.
  • Have experience in image analysis, medical imaging, and computer vision.
  • Possess a proven publication record in top-tier conferences and journals.
  • Proficiency in Python or equivalent programming languages and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras).
  • Strong communication skills in English (fluency in Spanish is advantageous).
