Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Sciences (AWI) is offering Postdoctoral Positions in Numerical Ocean Modelling for the academic session 2025/2026.

Eligibility for the postdoctoral position requires applicants to hold a PhD in physical oceanography, meteorology, physics, applied mathematics, or related fields. Candidates must possess advanced programming skills (FORTRAN, PYTHON) and experience with UNIX/Linux environments, numerical modeling, and large datasets.The Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Sciences (AWI), headquartered in Bremerhaven, Germany, is a leading research institution dedicated to the study of polar and marine environments.
