The University of Gothenburg is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Position in Systems Biology of Cardiometabolic Diseases. The role focuses on developing data-driven approaches to identify biomarkers and therapeutic targets for progressive cardiometabolic diseases, with opportunities to work within the national DDLS program and a dynamic international research environment.
Applicants must have a PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, molecular biology, or a related field. Strong skills in Python or R programming, experience with large-scale data analysis, and fluency in English are required. Additional merits include experience with omics data, machine learning, high-performance computing, and previous research on cardiometabolic diseases.
