Aarhus University is offering a Postdoctoral Position in Spatial Multi-omics and Atherosclerosis, starting on 1 September 2025. The position focuses on integrating single-cell and spatial omics data to study human coronary plaques. Applicants with a PhD and experience in bioinformatics and omics analysis are encouraged to apply by 3 July 2025.

To be eligible, applicants must hold a PhD in a relevant field such as bioinformatics, computational biology, or molecular biology. They should have experience with single-cell and spatial omics data analysis (e.g., snRNA-seq, Visium, MALDI-MSI) and be proficient in R and/or Python. Eligibility Criteria

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The fellowship will be awarded in the field of Spatial Multi-omics and Atherosclerosis, particularly involving bioinformatics, vascular biology, and integrative single-cell analysis.

  • Admissible Criteria:

    • Must hold a PhD in a relevant field (e.g., bioinformatics, computational biology, molecular biology).

    • Demonstrated experience with single-cell/spatial omics analysis (snRNA-seq, Visium, MALDI-MSI).

    • Proficiency in R and/or Python.

    • Experience in deconvolution tools, regulon/pathway analysis, and spatial image-based analysis is advantageous.

    • Must be fluent in written and spoken English.

    • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
