Lund University’s Faculty of Engineering (LTH), Department of Energy Sciences is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Position in Numerical Simulation of Turbulent Reactive Flows. This two-year, full-time position focuses on research into the thermal-chemical conversion of green fuels such as hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol for sustainable power generation and propulsion systems.

To be eligible for this postdoctoral position, applicants must hold a PhD (or an equivalent international degree) in a relevant field and have earned it no more than three years before the application deadline, unless special circumstances apply. Candidates should have strong expertise in high-performance numerical simulations of turbulent reactive flows, including DNS and LES, as well as experience analyzing large datasets and developing reduced-order combustion models.

Founded in 1666, Lund University is a public research university in Sweden and one of the oldest in northern Europe. Located primarily in the charming medieval city of Lund, it also has campuses in Malmö and Helsingborg. Consistently ranked among the top 100 universities worldwide, it is known for its extensive range of programs, world-leading research, and vibrant student life.
