Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to applicants of all nationalities.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in the field of Computational Social Sciences applied to democracy research.
  • Admissible Criteria:
    To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Hold a PhD in a relevant field (e.g., political science, computational social sciences, economics).
    • Expertise in Computational Social Sciences (CSS) methods, such as natural language processing or agent-based models, demonstrated through international publications.
    • Ability to work across disciplinary boundaries within multinational research teams.
    • Knowledge of the Dutch political system (comparative research expertise is an asset).
    • Excellent command of English.
