Umeå University is inviting applications for a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in Bioinformatics at the Department of Clinical Microbiology. This full-time, tax-free fellowship begins in early 2026 and offers an excellent opportunity to work within world-class research environments such as MIMS, UCMR, and the SciLifeLab DDLS program.
To be eligible for this fellowship, applicants must hold a PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, or computer science with a focus on human gut microbiome data. Candidates should have proven experience handling large metagenome datasets, demonstrated by first-author publications, and be proficient in R and/or Python programming.
