With the goal of making higher education available to all talented and deserving students, the University of Reading is offering a wonderful programme named as Politics, Economics and International Relations Scholarships.

The programme is open to international and UK students who are going to enrol in the master’s degree programme at the university.

Politics, Economics and International Relations Scholarships at University of Reading, UK Founded in 1892, University of Reading is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the large town of Reading (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), South East England. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Reading (UoR) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Reading (UoR) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. This 127 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: The sponsorship will be awarded in the following subjects:
  • MA Diplomacy
  • MA International Relations
  • MA International Security Studies
  • MA Public Policy
  • MA Strategic Studies
  • MRes Politics and International Relations
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the given criteria:
  • Aspirants must be international students
  • Applicants have to enrol in the master’s degree programme

Offered Benefits

The  support will be distributed in the following manner:

  • UK/Republic of Ireland students – £2,000 each
  • International students – £4,000 each

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To being enlisted in the programme, students are required to enrol in the master’s degree programme at the university. After that, you can apply for the grant.
  • Supporting Documents: Attach electronic copies of your academic transcripts, certificates and other supporting information.
  • Admission Requirements: Applicants having normally achieved at least an upper second class honours degree in their undergraduate studies, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Applicants with relevant equivalent professional experience will also be considered for taught postgraduate degree programmes.
  • Language Requirement: Students must be competent in the English Language. This can be satisfied through GCSE English Language at Grade C (or 4 in the numeric grading scheme) or better, or an equivalent qualification.
