Philantra-Tsai Family Foundation China Mobility Scholarship 2025 at uOttawa Founded in 1848, University of Ottawa is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Ottawa (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Ontario. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, Ontario, University of Ottawa (uOttawa) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Ottawa (uOttawa) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 171 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a Canadian citizen.
  • Be enrolled as a full or part-time undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Ottawa.
  • Be accepted in an international exchange program in China.

The exchange can be for one month, a full term or as part of a co-op placement.

The award is valued at $20,000.

Application Process

Applications must be made through Online Scholarships and Bursaries (accessed through uoZone). Each application should include an official acceptance letter from the host institution for the applicant's upcoming exchange in China.
