The Phi Gamma Delta Excellence Award will consist of one award valued at $500 for the grade 12 student entering the University of British Columbia (UBC) who has and continues to best demonstrate the core values of the fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta: friendship, knowledge, service, morality, and excellence. We have worked extensively with our alumni chapter to establish this opportunity with the aim of recognizing incoming student leaders on our campus.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A grade 12 student attending a secondary school located in Canada.
  • Accepted to study a program at UBC’s Vancouver campus.
  • Able to demonstrate engagement in academics and involvement in extracurriculars.

Offered Benefits

The award consists of a one-time $500 award, distributed in late August or early September.

The application consists of four 100 to 200 word short answer questions. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview in August.
