Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Domestic and International students
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Any subject offered by Newcastle University
  • Admissible Criteria: Minimum 2:1 Honours degree or international equivalent in a subject relevant to the proposed PhD project (e.g. Chemistry or Physics)
  • Proficiency in English with an IELTS score of 6.5 overall and a minimum of 5.5 in all sub-skills for applicants whose first language is not English
  • Strong background knowledge of molecular quantum mechanics and computational chemistry, with basic programming skills desirable.
