To be eligible, applicants must be UK nationals holding a first or upper-second-class degree in Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field. Candidates must also meet security clearance requirements by Dstl. - Admissible Criteria : To be eligible, applicants must:
- Hold a first or upper-second-class degree in Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related physical/natural sciences subject.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English (minimum IELTS 6.5 or equivalent, if applicable).
- Be a UK national and qualify for home fees status.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
- Meet security clearance requirements by Dstl.
Desirable qualifications include a Master’s degree or relevant experience and a background in experimental methods in science or engineering.
Offered Benefits
The successful candidate will receive:
- A tax-free annual stipend of £19,237.
- A full fee waiver for the program duration (3.5 years).
