Stockholm University is offering a PhD Student Position in Bioinformatics at the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics, in collaboration with SciLifeLab. The project focuses on developing biology-informed AI methods to infer complex gene regulatory networks, combining expertise in bioinformatics, machine learning, and systems biology. The position is open to candidates worldwide with strong backgrounds in life sciences, computer science, or related fields.
To be eligible for this PhD position, applicants must have completed a second-cycle degree or equivalent, with at least 90 ECTS credits in relevant subjects such as chemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, computer science, mathematics, or physics, along with 60 ECTS credits at the second-cycle level including a 30-credit thesis.
