This exciting research opportunity focuses on developing advanced electrochemical sensors for detecting PFAS in environmental and food samples.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to applicants from all countries
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in Physics, Biophysics, Sensor Engineering, or related interdisciplinary fields offered by KU Leuven and Maastricht University
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Hold a relevant master’s degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Demonstrate strong interest in developing new materials and interdisciplinary research.

  • Possess at least CEFR B2-level proficiency in English.

  • Be willing to assist in student training and laboratory practicals.

  • Prior experience in electrochemistry, molecular imprinting, or sensor design is advantageous.

  • A valid European Type B driving licence is desirable.
