PhD Scholarships in Communication, Norway Established in 1943, Handelshøyskolen BI (BI Norwegian Business School) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Oslo (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants).   • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in Communication-related disciplines, including but not limited to:
  • Management

  • Communication Studies

  • Political Science

  • Psychology

  • Sociology

  • Philosophy

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
  • Hold a Master of Science degree with a thesis, a Research Master’s/MPhil, or an equivalent degree relevant to Communication by early summer 2026

  • Final-year Master’s students graduating in 2026 are eligible to apply

  • An MBA degree alone does not meet the admission requirements

  • Demonstrate strong academic and research potential

  • Meet English language requirements (TOEFL/IELTS unless exempted)

  • Be willing to undertake 25% teaching duties during the scholarship period.
