Copenhagen Business School is pleased to announce a PhD scholarship opportunity at the Department of International Economics, Government and Business (EGB). This scholarship, funded by a grant from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is in collaboration with the Danish Institute of International Studies (DIIS) and focuses on Political Economy with a specific emphasis on Ukraine.

The programme is highly international, and you will be expected to participate in international research conferences and research visits abroad. Applicants should also be prepared to undertake teaching activities (CBS) and policy work/dissemination (DIIS).Copenhagen Business  School (CBS) is a renown ed institution  located in the aff luent area of  Frederiksberg, C openhagen, Denmark.  Established in  1912, it has  grown to accommodate over  23,000 students, offering  a wide range of  programs in economics,  languages, communication,  politics, and more , all with a business and industry focus. PhD Scholarships at Department of International Economics, Government and Business, CBS Founded in 1917, Handelshøjskolen i København (Copenhagen Business School) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Frederiksberg (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Capital Region of Denmark. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Uddannelses- og Forskningsministeriet (Ministry of Higher Education and Science, Denmark), Handelshøjskolen i København (CBS) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Handelshøjskolen i København (CBS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to all nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by Copenhagen Business School.
  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
    • Hold a Master’s degree corresponding to the 3 + 2 Bologna process
    • Have a minimum weighted grade point average of 8.2 on the Danish 7-point grading scale for the bachelor’s and master’s degree combined (or equivalent)
    • Demonstrate proficiency in academic English at a very high level
    • Have an educational background in political economy, political science, or a related field
    • Meet additional criteria outlined in the application guidelines.

Offered Benefits

The successful candidates will receive a fully salaried position for a period of three years, with teaching and dissemination obligations equivalent to six months’ work. The scholarship includes a monthly salary, tuition fees, office space, and travel costs according to the current CBS agreement.
