The PhD scholarship will be awarded to Australian or New Zealand students only. The students must have applied to carry out PhD study on the research topic ‘Healthy Food, Healthy Planet, Healthy People at the Centre of Research Excellence (CRE) to be considered. First Class Honours or Master’s degree in Nutrition or similar or equivalent experience is required for the PhD position. The selected candidates can expect to receive numerous opportunities to excel in their research along with an annual Award of $30,000 for up to 3 years.

  • How to Apply:  Students interested to apply for the PhD position and scholarship must complete the  application form . All eligible candidates will be automatically considered for the opportunity prize.
  • Supporting Documents:  The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • A cover letter
  • Current resume
  • Copy of academic transcripts
  • Proof of citizenship or permanent residency
  • The names and contact details of at least two referees
  • Admission Requirements:  The applicants must hold a First Class Honours or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Biostatistics, Public Policy, Sustainability, Law, or another related field or equivalent experience. 
  • Language Requirement:  The candidates must be proficient in the medium of instruction, i.e., English language.
