The Department of Economic History at Uppsala University is offering PhD Positions in the Department of Economic History. These positions are linked to specific research projects focusing on recycling in the automobile industry, self-employment during the expansion of the welfare state, and the management of the Swedish banking crisis.
To be eligible, applicants must hold a master’s degree or equivalent with at least 240 higher education credits, including 60 credits at the advanced level. They should also have at least 90 credits in Economic History or equivalent training. Strong English skills are required, and non-Swedish speakers are expected to learn Swedish during their studies.
