The University of Amsterdam (UvA), Faculty of Science, is offering three fully funded PhD positions in Automated and Data-Driven Chemistry. These positions are part of a multidisciplinary project at the Van ’t Hoff Institute for Molecular Sciences (HIMS), Flow Chemistry Group, focusing on reimagining chemical synthesis through robotics, automation, and machine learning.
The program aims to reimagine chemical synthesis through automation and data-driven methods. The PhD candidates will work on designing robotic platforms, developing machine learning algorithms, and creating novel approaches to automated and scalable chemical synthesis, with high impact across academia and industry.
