Wageningen University & Research is offering a PhD Position in Rapid Experimentation and Data-driven Ingredient Characterization & Product Testing. This exciting opportunity is part of the PREDICT project and aims to transform sustainable food product development by integrating high-throughput experimentation and machine learning. The successful candidate will work at the forefront of food science and data-driven innovation, contributing to climate-friendly and efficient food design.
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must hold a completed MSc degree in food technology, food science, data science, chemical engineering, material science, or a related field. They should have experience with Python programming (including generative AI tools), a strong interest in predictive modeling and sustainability, and a hands-on, tool-building mindset.
