This position is part of the TopTreat consortium, focusing on developing and optimizing personalized care strategies for osteoarthritis patients. The successful candidate will contribute to advanced simulation modeling and health technology assessment, using clinical data and innovative diagnostic tools.
To be eligible for this PhD position, applicants must hold or be nearing completion of a master’s degree in a relevant quantitative field such as Health Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, Technical Medicine, Applied Mathematics, Biostatistics, or Computer Science. Strong programming skills in R or Python and experience in data analysis, modeling, and simulation are essential. Additional knowledge of machine learning or advanced simulation techniques like Agent-Based or Discrete Event Simulation is an advantage.
