Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to all nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in Operations Research within the Erasmus School of Economics.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
    • A background in operations research, computer science, mathematics, or industrial engineering.
    • Preferably an MPhil or Research Master’s degree.
    • Excellent academic results in bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
    • Strong motivation for scientific research.
    • Valid GRE General Test results, scoring in the top 10% in the quantitative section.
    • Proficiency in English (TOEFL iBT score of 100 or IELTS score of 7.5).
    • Two academic reference letters.
    • Advanced knowledge in Mixed Integer Linear Programming and Combinatorial Optimization.
    • Advanced programming skills in languages like C, C#, C++, or JAVA.
    • Experience with MILP solvers like CPLEX or Gurobi.
