Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Applicants from all countries are eligible to apply.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The PhD research will be awarded in Computational Biology, Systems Biology, Plant Biology, Bioinformatics, or related disciplines offered by Maastricht University.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Hold a Master’s degree in computational biology, systems biology, bioinformatics, or a closely related field
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in plant–microbe interactions and plant systems biology

  • Have experience or motivation to work with computational and mathematical modelling

  • Possess good command of English, both written and spoken

  • Show an independent, motivated, and proactive research attitude

  • Be willing to collaborate in an international and interdisciplinary research environment.
