TU Delft is offering a PhD Position in Metallurgical Model of Scrap Metal Streams for the academic session 2025/2026. The selected candidate will work on innovative solutions for efficient metal recovery and contribute to the Netherlands’ green steel revolution under the Groeien met Groen Staal program.
Applicants must hold an MSc degree in materials science and engineering, chemistry, physics, computer science, or a related field. They should have a strong background or keen interest in numerical modeling, machine learning, and scientific programming. Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required, along with the ability to work collaboratively with academic and industry partners.
