The University of Oslo (UiO) invites applications for a PhD position in Cardiovascular Research at the Institute of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine.   • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in Medicine and Health Sciences, with a focus on cardiovascular research and cardiac biomarkers at the University of Oslo.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Hold a five-year Master’s degree or equivalent, recognized by the Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo

  • Be eligible for admission to the PhD program in Medicine and Health Sciences at UiO

  • Possess a medical doctor (MD) degree

  • Demonstrate knowledge of and strong interest in clinical cardiac biomarker research

  • Have previous academic experience in cardiac troponin research (publications are highly desirable)

  • Show good written and oral proficiency in both English and Norwegian

  • Be highly motivated, committed, and capable of independent scientific work
