The University of Oslo (UiO) invites applications for a PhD position in Cardiovascular Research at the Institute of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine. Based at Akershus University Hospital, the position is offered within a leading international research environment and focuses on cardiac biomarker research, particularly cardiac troponins and cardio-oncology.
Applicants must hold a five-year master’s degree or equivalent, recognized by the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Oslo, and meet the admission requirements for the PhD program in Medicine and Health Sciences. A medical doctor (MD) degree is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong interest and prior academic experience in clinical cardiovascular biomarker research, preferably with experience or publications in cardiac troponin research.
