De Montfort University is offering two fully-funded 3-year PhD Studentships in Polymer Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry for the academic year 2022-2023.

This scholarship application can be taken up by international and domestic students, both towards a PhD programme to study Modulation of Protein Function using Molecular Imprinting or Development of Molecularly Imprinted Electrochemical Sensors using 3D Printing. The studentship winners will be given a tuition fee and a stipend at UKRI rates.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply for a PhD programme in Polymer Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry at the De Montfort University.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must demonstrate competence in the use of the English language.
  • The applicants must have experience with polymer chemistry and electrochemistry, working with protein samples, an interest in chemistry at the physical interface, and an interest in the structure of proteins.

Offered Benefits

The selected candidates will be provided stipends set to the current UKRI rate and tuition fee waivers for home (UK) and international students.
