Aiming to support the most outstanding applicants from outside the UK in conducting their postgraduate study in the UK, the University of Liverpool has established PhD Studentships for research in biological and medical sciences for the academic year 2022-2023.

Funded by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), this studentship will be covering the tuition fee of the undertaken research study programme at the University of Liverpool and offer a stipend for up to 4 years. These full studentships will only be awarded to exceptional quality candidates.

PhD International Studentships in Conflict of Interests, UK Established in 1881, University of Liverpool is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Liverpool (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), North West England. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Students from any country around the world can apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Postgraduate research study in biological and medical sciences on the topic ‘A conflict of interests: How do viruses manipulate their mosquito vector to increase their transmission?’ at Liverpool can be applied for.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must have relevant interests and indicate the same in their application.

Offered Benefits

The selected students will be provided tuition fees at the UK rate only, a Research Training and Support Grant (RTSG) and a stipend for 4 years.

  • Admission Requirements: Students must have a relevant undergraduate or master qualification.
  • Language Requirement: The students must meet the English language requirements of the university. IELTS and TOEFL are commonly accepted.
