  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must demonstrate a capacity to carry out independent research and have adequate training and ability to pursue the proposed course of study/research.
  • the PhD study must be conducted in the   Thesis by Publication mode, which requires producing and publishing PhD research outputs in high-impact international journals.

Offered Benefits

The scholarship winner will be provided an Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) fees offset (International) or a QUT research degree (HDR) tuition fee scholarship and $28,854 per annum for three years indexed annually.

  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must have a completed Bachelor’s degree with First Class Honours or a master by Research in urban and regional planning, urban studies, local government studies, public policy, urban policy, human geography, sociology, information and technology management, and computer science or other related disciplines.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
