The Applied Nano-Optics Research Group at the Technical University of Denmark is inviting highly talented candidates to apply for the PhD Scholarships in Experimental Nanoscale Optic.

The PhD project focuses on demonstrating novel nanoscale resonators for the detection of chiral molecules. Students will work on identifying, preparing, and measuring new nanomaterials capable of boosting the circular dichroism signal of chiral molecules.

Offered Benefits

The Technical University of Denmark will provide the salary and allowance for students. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union. The period of employment is three years.

  • Admission Requirements: Applicants must have a two-year master’s degree (120 ECTS points) in physics, photonics, materials science, or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to a two-year master’s degree.
  • Language Requirement: All international applicants must prove their English proficiency by taking one of the English tests.
